The Art of VC – Reverse Demo Day of Venture University

At VU Europe’s Reverse Demo Day, the pitch flows in the other direction: ​Instead of startups seeking capital, Venture Partners, participants of VU’s Venture Capital Investor Accelerator, present the companies they’ve recently selected for investment. These deals were sourced from over 5,000 opportunities screened last quarter, and several rounds remain open for co-investment. On November 14 in Munich, Andy and Remy Goldstein will host a special edition in collaboration with Alphazirkel and FamilienUnternehmerTUM.

Participants will explore how family businesses and family offices can build their investor edge, and how venture investing fits into long-term strategy. The program will feature:

• Cohort pitches from VU’s latest investors, giving a behind-the-scenes look at sourcing, diligence, and conviction.
• A keynote by Albert Geiger (Alphazirkel), sharing insights from his work with family businesses.
• A family business perspective from Leopold Schlenk-Barnsdorf, highlighting success stories and the role of FamilienUnternehmerTUM.
• Special guest Sky Fernandes, founder of Venture University, joining from Silicon Valley to share how U.S. families are engaging with VC.
• Reflections from Andy & Remy on VU’s mission in Europe and the opportunities ahead.
